It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Uzziah Wade of New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on January 16, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vester Wade, and George Wade, Sr.; and his siblings, Louis, Ronald, Stanford, George Jr., Isaac, Melvin, Malvolia Russ, Lottie Taylor, Sallie White, Naomi Weatherall, Relean Purdue, Clorinda Moody, Bobbie Parks and Diane Hales.
He is survived by: his wife Leona Wade; his children, Stacie Williams (Quince), Wendy Severin (Chris) and Lance Wade (Kawana); his sister Celena Wade Breland; and his grandchildren, Kristian Williams, Justin Williams, Cailyn Williams, Landon Wade, Jamarkus Williams, Keelie Severin, Chloe Severin, Kelsey Wade, Eli Severin and Ethan Severin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
