She is survived by: her children, Joycelyn W. Guntz, William J. Washington, Jr. and Keith Michael Washington (Maryann); her grandchildren, Demetrise Ballerini (Cosimo), Marc Washington and Kimberly G. Washington; and her great grandchild Colby T. Washington. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and friends.

A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Shaw Temple (8818 Pear St, New Orleans, LA 70118).
