He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia; his parents, Carroll Schwartz and Mary Schwartz; and his brothers, Albert, Carroll "Junior" Schwartz (Irma Solomon) and Maynette Dobard.
He is survived by: his children, Patrice Schwartz, Brett Schwartz (Lori) and Ashley Klotz (John); his grandchildren, Alyssa Barrett Scott (Trevor), Kieffer, Kyleigh Schwartz, Holton and Peyton Klotz; his great grandchild Desmond Scott; and his sisters, Irene Aldrich and Jeanette Baham.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home (5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
