He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Tucker Tanner and Francis Ard Tanner; his wife Catherine Smith; and his friends, Wilbert Huey (Flip), Newman Braud and Gilbert White.
He is survived by: his children, Toni Tanner Castillo and Glenn Francis Tanner (Tammie Tanner); his grandchildren, Derek Tanner, Alana Marie Castillo and Gabriella Castillo; his great grandchildren, Jamar William Tanner and Aria Catherine Landry; his niece Lynnette Braud; his son-in-law Alex Castillo; and also Kim Davidson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Martin (5621 Elysian Fields Ave, New Orleans, LA 70122). A Mass will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
