She is survived by: her parents, Elton Simms and Gaynell Simms; her sisters, Quilana and Tyra; her nieces and nephews, Nataria, Quilaiya, Tyja, Phil Jr. and Xaden; her great-niece Nasiyah; and her son Zandon. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, great relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Boyd Family Funeral Home (5001 Chef Menteur Hwy, New Orleans, LA 70126). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
