He was predeceased by: his parents, John K. Laws, Sr. and Helen Davis; his stepfather Eugene Davis; his stepsiblings, Bobbie Hess and Carter Davis; his parents-in-law, Evelyn and Joseph Chustz; and his brother-in-law Mark Chustz.
He is survived by: his wife Debra C. Laws; his siblings, Parkerson Laws, Crane Laws, Helen C. Elliot and Nancy Rea Laws; and his nieces and nephews, Parkerson E. Laws, Cody Tyler Laws, Joseph Bueche, Vaughn Bueche, James Laws, John K. Laws, III, Willie Hess, Helen Elliot, Sandy Part, Sara Aguillard, Lisa Robillard and Trisha Adams.
