He was predeceased by: his wife Ann Vosburg Laws; his parents, John K. Laws, Sr. and Helen W. Davis; his stepfather Eugene; his brother Davis; his parents-in-law, Betty L. Vosburg and Morgan J. Vosburg; his brother Harry L. Laws; his stepbrother Carter Davis; his brothers-in-law, Kerry Vosburg and Ronnie Elliott; his stepsister Bobbie Hess; and his sister-in-law Jeanne Chustz.
He is survived by: his pet Quigley; his children, Sandy L. Part (Rodney), Parkerson E. Laws (Celeste), Cody T. Laws and Sara C. Aguillard (Tommy); his grandchildren, Allie Laws, Carson Laws, Charlee Clark, Brennan Part, Ethan Part and Mason Part; his siblings, Helen Elliott, Nancy Rea Laws and Crane Laws; his siblings-in-law, Debra Laws, Margaret Langdon (David), Samantha Green (Peter), Morgan G. "Chip" Vosburg (Tammy), Randy Vosburg (Peggy) and Pappy Chustz; and his nieces and nephews, Little Carter Davis, Lisa Robillard, Willie Hess, Tricia Adams, Helen Elliott, Langdon Elliott, John Laws, James Laws, Morgan Michelle Elrod, Nicholas Vosburg, Angelle Whitty, Cole Langdon, Kristen Grezaffi, Morgan G. Vosburg III, Victoria Copes Key, Clayton David, Anna Massey and Jessica David.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 8:30 AM to 10:40 AM at the Nilands Funeral Service (210 Westend Dr, New Roads, LA 70760). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Paul's Holy Trinity Episcopal Church (605 E. Main St, New Roads, LA 70760).
