He was predeceased by: his parents, Ogden Chenevert and Rosa Lee Chenevert; his siblings, John Ogden Chenevert, Betty Averitt and Rose Miller; and his brothers-in-law, Ray Feirman, Roland Paul Averitt and Jimmy Andre.
He is survived by: his daughter Sharon Chenevert Gaude (Raymond); his wife Phyllis; his son Stephen Chenevert (Nikki); his grandchildren, Racheal Gaude Smithson (Daulton), Brandon Chenevert (Madeline), Andrew, Julia Gaude, Lauren and Emily Chenevert; and his siblings, Floyd Chenevert, Edna Feirman, Joy Andre, Beverly Daly, Loretta Lemmons, Gertrude Ardoin, Anna Segari, Judy Salmere, Sadie Ramsey and Toni Ledet. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
