Mitchell; his brother Aldridge "Bookie" Mitchell; his uncles, Otis Kenner, Sr. and Warren Johnson; his grandparents, Rose Marcel Brown, Elizabeth Mitchell and Ernest Robinson (Daniel Mitchell, Sr.); his aunt Shonda Brown Lee; and his cousins, Emonic Williams, Tajonisha Washington and Jermoul Dennis.
He is survived by: his daughter Danisha Roy; his siblings, Lawanda Mitchell, LaTasha Walker and Louis Walker, Jr. (Dinez); his aunts, Dr. Ethel Jones, Elaine Anderson, Melva Brown (James) and Laverne Sanders (David); his uncle Louis Boyd, Jr.; his friends, Maurice Mills and Craig Stewart; and his caregiver Richard Jones.
