He was predeceased by : his parents, Carl Victor Travis I and Ruby Alice Phillips Marshall; his wife Betty Jo Moss Travis; his son Carl Victor Travis II; his granddaughter Zayleigh Ann Perdue; and his sisters, Thelma Ann Travis and Vickie Travis.
He is survived by : his brother Benny L. Travis (Carolyn); his children, Anita C. Gregoire (Marc), Sharon G. Perdue (Kevin), David E. Travis (Goober) and William B. Perdue (Stephanie); and his grandchildren, Bethanie Redmond (Robert), Joseph Gregoire (Kelli), Cory V. Travis (Haley), Matthew R. Travis (Katelyn), Tiffany N. Travis, Braxlynn Perdue and Jozi Perdue. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and multiple nieces and nephews.
