With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Albert J. Mizell of Oak Grove, Louisiana, born in Bernice, Louisiana, who passed away on October 31, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Moses Philip Mizell and Irene Clyde Buckley Mizell; his sister Jimmie Mizell Holtzclaw (Charles); his parents-in-law, Louis B. Moseley Sr. and Mattie Lula Bott Moseley; and his siblings-in-law, Charles Verlon Moseley (Peggy), Imogene Moseley Phillips (Fred), Louis B. Moseley Jr., Jimmie L. Myrick and Judy E. Mizell.
He is survived by : his wife Mary Louise Moseley Mizell of Brentwood, TN; his sons, Jeffrey Mizell (Sherry) of Brentwood, TN, Richard Mizell (Krista) of Woonsocket, RI and Robert Mizell (Wendy) of Arlington, TX; his grandchildren, Allison Mizell DeMarinis (Louis) of Charleston, SC, Andrew Mizell (Shannon) of Brentwood, TN, Kenneth Mizell (Ashley) of Lake Providence, LA, Rachael Mizell Lucas (Benny) of Forest, LA, Luke St Godard of Woonsocket, RI, Zack St Godard of Woonsocket, RI, Jake St Godard of Woonsocket, RI, Jacob Mizell of Leander, TX and Justin Mizell (Kelsey) of Bennington, VT; his brothers, Larry Mizell (Kathryn) of Rock Springs, WY, Billy Mizell of Riverside, CA and Jerry Mizell (Yuliya) of Porter, TX; and his sisters-in-law, Myrna Moseley Myrick of Brandon, MS and Janet Thompson Moseley. He is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces & nephews.
