She was predeceased by: her parents, James McDaniel and Lottie Corbin; her brother Wayne McDaniel; her nephew Jason McDaniel; and her grandchildren, Madison Hughes and Mason Hughes.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Bass; her children, Sarah Cardwell, David Bass (Janie) and Missy Hughes (Daniel); her grandchildren, Skyler Bass, Michelle, Seth Bass, Devin Cardwell, D'Ann Kennedy and Jason; her great grandchildren, Lylah Bass, Kypher Bass, Beckett Cardwell, Tiegan Cardwell and Waylon Kennedy; and her siblings, James McDaniel, Jr., William McDaniel, Mark McDaniel, James Hardy McDaniel and Amanda "Amy" McDaniel. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
