He was predeceased by: his grandson Daniel Blake Layton; and his parents, Bobby Layton Jr. and Ruby Hamilton Layton. He is survived by: his wife Robin Layton of Oak Grove, Louisiana; his son Robert; his daughter-in-law Brandy Layton of Russellville, Alabama; his daughter Regina; his son-in-law Brandon Lott of Hartselle, Alabama; his daughter Dianna; his son-in-law Billy Shields of Maryville, Tennessee; his daughter Jennifer; his son-in-law Patrick Patton of Choudrant, Louisiana; his son Jacob; his daughter-in-law Tiffany McHenry of West Monroe, Louisiana; his siblings, Melvin Layton of New Iberia, Louisiana and Janice; his brother-in-law Bruce Moore of Minden, Louisiana; his sister Karen; and his brother-in-law Gregg Johnson of Oak Grove, Louisiana. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
