It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Rushing Jr. of Oak Grove, Louisiana, born in Fayette, Mississippi, who passed away on July 30, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by : his wife Beverly M. Rushing of Oak Grove, Louisiana; his daughter Phillis Jo; his son-in-law Jose Zapato of Jefferson, Texas; his daughter Wanda Rushing; his son-in-law Rex Thomas of West Monroe, Louisiana; his daughter Beanie Goodwin Maxwell of Natchez, Mississippi; and his grandsons, Will Maxwell and Arin Rushing. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; numerous great and great great grandchildren.
