She was predeceased by: her husband John William Johnston; her parents, Ather Andrew Turnbow and Evie Lena Turnbow (Borden); her daughter DaRhonda Johnston; and her siblings, Tom Eland Turnbow, John Leland Turnbow, Barbara Ellen Marion, Burnis William Turnbow and Homer Laverne Turnbow.
She is survived by: her daughters, Evie LaDell Starks of Pioneer, Louisiana and Sandra; her son-in-law Ronnie Powell of Epps, Louisiana; and her son Johnny Johnston of Oak Grove, Louisiana. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
