She was predeceased by : her parents, Theodore Roosevelt Weir and Mattie Ruth Jones Weir; and her brother Richard "Dick" Brown Weir. She is survived by : her husband Glenn Donald Tanner of Oak Grove, Louisiana; her son Richard "Rick" Donald Tanner; her daughter-in-law Debbie Tanner of Coppell, Texas; her daughter Janet Ruth Tanner Theis; her son-in-law Kenneth Theis of Houston, Texas; her grandchildren, Brent (Julie Tanner) of Nashville, Tennessee, Ryne (Jessi Tanner) of Coppell, Texas, Katie Theis Curtis (Max Curtis) of Nashville, Tennessee and Chad Theis of Houston, Texas; and her great grandchildren, Frances Tanner, Libby Tanner, Will Tanner and Ella Jane Tanner.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Oak Grove Elementary Restock the Library Campaign.
