He was predeceased by : his parents, Avon Evans and Della Evans; and his siblings, Ilean Moss, Pearleen Costello, Vearlean Bonner Bell, Frankie Evans, A. J. Evans and W. C. Evans.
He is survived by : his nieces, Thereca O'Neal of Oak Grove, Louisiana and Mary Deaver of Oak Grove, Louisiana.
