He is survived by: his wife Donna Bedenbender Chavers of Oak Grove, Louisiana; his children, Marcus Chavers (Liv) of St. Charles, Missouri, Kendra Joles of Oak Grove, Louisiana, Deidre Hill (Greg Hendrix) of Oak Grove, Louisiana and Shaundra Mills (Chris) of Oak Grove, Louisiana; his grandchildren, Mason Dillon, Riley Chavers, Rhett Chavers, Isaiah Joles, Kylah Joles, Austin Hill (Ashley), John Kyler Hill (Emily), Sean Hill, Kaleb Hill (Ali), Malori Miley, Kade Miley (Callie), Colin Miley, Kenley Miley and Ella Ratliff; and his siblings, Ann Ryan, Elaine DuBois (Leonard), James "Butter" Chavers (Kathy), Marvin Chavers (Shirley) and Glen Chavers (Diana). He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
