She was predeceased by : her husband Bobby Ray Cooper; her grandson Zachary Voigt; her parents, Ben Shelton McCasland and Elon Castleman McCasland; and her siblings, Ben McCasland, Glen McCasland and Clotile Bains.

She is survived by : her daughter Martha; her son-in-law Kenny Hale of Oak Grove, Louisiana; her son Buddy; her daughter-in-law Cindy Cooper of Mer Rouge, Louisiana; her daughter Linda; her son-in-law Mark Brasher of Oak Grove, Louisiana; her children, Molly Cooper of Epps, Louisiana and Brian; and her daughter-in-law Kasey Cooper of Calhoun, Louisiana. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Oak Grove Methodist Church (104 S Horner St, Oak Grove, LA 71283). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
