He is survived by: his children, Kevin Walker (Lilliemae), Kacey Nolan (Matthew) and Theresa Purvis (Jeff); his grandchildren, Anna Walker, Megan Walker, Michael Walker, Kayden Nolan, Matthew Simmons, J. T. Simmons and Magan Higdon; his sister Mary "Sissy" Ellerbe (Robert); Brittany Walker. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
