She was predeceased by: her former husband Nathan Rider, Sr.; her husband Charles Hale; her parents, Amson Joseph and Ella Deshotel; and her sister Linda Monceaux.
She is survived by: her children, Phil Rider (Karla) of Natchitoches, Danny Rider (Shawn) of Memphis, Tennessee, Nadine Rider Anderson (David) of Lake Charles and Angie Rider Hill (Craig) of Dry Creek; and her sisters, Dee Konstanzer (Dave) of Sulphur, Debbie Scott of Moss Bluff and Jackie Welch (Brian) of Oakdale. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; thirty-nine great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
