Gloria Willis Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gloria Willis of Oakdale, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 17, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Carl E. Willis; her son Tommy Willis; her parents, Jesse Welch and Rosie Lee Welch; and her siblings, Brevelle Welch, Riley Welch, Bertie Sonnier, Estelle Johnson, Ruby Wheat and Mae Stanley.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Willis (Crista), Janet Gormanous (Tony) and Cindy Skoug (Lenny); her grandchildren, Jason Gormanous (Jayme), Terrance Gormanous (Chelsea), Hannah Jeane (Alex), Bailee Willis and Ryan Willis; her great grandchildren, Jacey Gormanous (Dawson), Jason "Baby Shot" Gormanous, Jr. (Mallie), Josie Gormanous (Hunter), Drake Gormanous, Audrina Gormanous and Brennan Jeane; and her great great grandchildren, Doxx Noblitt and Arley Jay Noblitt.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home - Oakdale (113 S 11th St, Oakdale, LA 71463).
