We are sad to announce that on September 10, 2021 we had to say goodbye to James Davidson of Oakdale, Louisiana, born in Junction City, Arkansas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, E. H. Davidson and Winnie Davidson; and his daughter Judy Davidson Courville. He is survived by : his wife Patricia McNeely Davidson of Oakdale; his daughters, Connie Davidson Murla (Michael) of Baton Rouge and Hailey Davidson Ridgeway (Brad) of Hoover, Alabama; his brother Charles W. Davidson of Clearlake, Texas; and his grandchildren, Matthew Murla, David Murla, Caroline Ridgeway, Katie Ridgeway, Crawford Courville and Presley Courville.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church or the Robert David Abrusley Foundation.

“Mrs Davidson, Connie, & Hailey, I was so sad to hear about Mr. Davidson’s sudden illness and passing. What good memories I have of the many days and nights spent at your house riding horses and going to check on the cattle😊, swimming in your pool, and enjoying the kindness and ever-present smile if your dad (and mom)! I’m so sorry that I won’t be able to attend (or bring Mama) the services tomorrow.I’m in charge of Phi Mu Family Tailgate and have to be in BR at noon tomorrow. Prayers for all.”
