He was predeceased by: his parents, Riley Duncan and Beatrice Duncan; his granddaughter Erica Gradney; his siblings, Alice Mae Duncan, Dorothy Mae Caplan, Viola Scott, Riley Duncan, Jr., Samuel Duncan, Elvin Duncan and Wilbert Duncan; and his siblings-in-law, Fred Bowdry and Rosemary Duncan.
He is survived by: his wife Jennie Thompson Duncan; his children, Robin Peshak (Keith), LaChanda Dupard (Reggie), Donita Duncan Gradney (J. D. Sr.), Chalanda Duncan Wilson (Shandrecus) and Bobbie Duncan, Jr.; and his siblings, Annie D. Bowdry, Anderson Willie Duncan and Bismark Duncan. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.
