He was predeceased by : his parents, Sam Chisolm and Mary Cloud Chisolm. He is survived by : his wife Jenny Chisolm; his children, Sonya Spillers (Jason) and Charles Jefferson Chisolm (Mindy); his siblings, Sammy Chisolm (Debbie) and Shirley Pontiff; and his grandchildren, Jacob, Addison, Rhyder, Madalynn and Kayleigh.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Olla First Baptist Church, the Louisiana Loggers Association, or the Olla Volunteer Fire Department.
