Julia Ann Shelton Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Julia Ann Shelton (Olla, Louisiana), who passed away on October 3, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Leroy Shelton; her daughter Brandi Shelton Scarbrough; and her sisters, Juanita Castillo and Alice Dye. She is survived by: her children, Carlton Shelton of Monroe and Deborah Johnson of Urania; her siblings, Carolyn Floyd of Jena, A. W. Lucas of Deville and Stanley Lucas of Wichita Falls, TX; her grandchildren, Justin Kirkland (Danielle) of Winnfield, Alicia Kirkland of Jackson, MS, Kyle Kirkland (Shonda) of Olla, Ryan Kirkland (Monika) of Jena, Harmony Scarbrough of Urania and Frankie D. Spikes (Tristen) of Urania; her great grandchildren, Lannah, Tenley, Brodie, Kynsley, Kyleigh, Brinleigh, Dixie, Saylor, Lizeigh, Everett and Waylon; and her nephews, Paul Shelton, Gleen Shelton, Joshua Flack, Charles "Frog" Floyd, Keith "Toad" Floyd and Tanner Dulaney.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Olla Pentecostal Church (2878 US-165, Olla, LA 71465). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
