With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sherman Lavelle Peppers of Olla, Louisiana, born in Urania, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 28, 2026 at the age of 72. He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey Lavelle Peppers and Daisy Welch Peppers; his siblings, Raymond "Sonny" Peppers, Ralph "Bo" Peppers and Ruby "RuRu" Jackson; and his nieces and nephews, Sheldon "Bubba" Miley, Jimmy Peppers, Marla George, Angel Hawkins, Rhonda Jackson, Ashley Cooper and Harper Nicole Patton.

He is survived by: his siblings, Glen Peppers (Brenda), Keith Peppers (Chasity), Kim Peppers (Amy), Sheran Humphries (George), Dorothy George and Renee Thomas. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; great- great nieces and nephews; and his fur baby.
