He is survived by: his wife Patsy Goodwin Black; his children, Cindy Black (Mike Kerry) and Glynn Black (Dewana Black); his grandsons, Jason Black (Kristie Black), Cody McClanahan (Ma'Kaela McClanahan) and James Black (Madison Black); and his great grandchildren, Annistyn Black, McCoy Black, Garrett Boyd, Kinley Boyd, Asher McClanahan, Aurora McClanahan, Audrey Black and Ava Black.
