It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Albert Louis Soileau in Opelousas, Louisiana, born in Washington, Louisiana, who passed away on September 3, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Willis Soileau and Louise Fisher Soileau; his grandparents, Rosamond Jr., Eliska Fontenot Soileau, Albert and Marie Antoinette Pierell Fisher; his siblings, Willis Soileau, Charles Soileau, Frances Ortego and Alice "Ticky" McClelland; and his son Charles Francis Soileau.

He is survived by : his wife Irene Soileau; his son Christopher Soileau of Opelousas; and his grandchildren, Katie Soileau of Pineville, Thomas Soileau (Allison Willard) of Monroe and Mary Soileau of Carencro. He is also survived by his family and friends.
