Chavis, Brenley Chavis and Khalil Chavis; the mother of his children Kimethia Rideaux Chavis; his sister-in-law Muriel Michelle Chavis of Opelousas, LA; his niece Ke'Asa Chavis of Lafayette, LA; his grandmother Isabelle Randell of Sunset, LA; his godparents, Margie Roberts of Sunset, LA and John Shelton Colomb of Opelousas, LA; his uncles, Jerome Chavis, Gervis Chavis (Evelyn), Lester Guidry and Gerald Ray Guidry; his great-uncle Lorby White of New Iberia, LA; and his aunts, Margie Roberts, Debra Chavis (Allen), Danitra Henderson (Rodney), Laura Roberts and Vera Roberts. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
