With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anna Celestine (Opelousas, Louisiana), who passed away on May 15, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her fathers, Joseph Tezeno and Lawrence Ardoin Tezeno; her son Lincoln Celestine, Jr.; and her siblings, Clarence Tezeno, Eugene Tezeno, Ambrose Tezeno, Farris Tezeno, Peter Tezeno, Willie Tezeno, Clara Sinegal, Rose Mouton, Hilda Tezeno, Lorita Celestine and Joyce Tezeno.

She is survived by: her husband Lincoln Celestine Sr.; her children, Carol Celestine Thomas (Vincent) of Washington, LA and Marcus Celestine (Telley) of Opelousas, LA; her daughter-in-law Willlona Celestine of Opelousas, LA; and her sisters, Alvina Rideaux of Chicago, IL, Dorothy Tezeno of Dallas, TX, Mary Johnson (Charlson) of Washington, LA and Viola Readore (Reynard) of Lebeau, LA. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
