He is survived by: his siblings, Brent Reed (Susan), Nell Dye (Roddy), Judy Courville (Alan) and Madelyn Reed Comeaux; and his siblings' children, Ben Dye, Andy Dye, Alayna Dye, Lauren Dye Rogers, Aaron Reed, Sarah Courville Meche, Amanda Courville Meche, Jessica Courville, Kristen Courville Pavy, A. J. Courville, Matthew Courville, Christopher Comeaux and Casey Comeaux. He is also survived by 25 great-nieces and nephews.
