He was predeceased by: his wife Irene Winbush Ryan; his mother Hilda Leday; his children, Arthur Ryan, Jr. and Peggy Ryan; his brother David Leday; and his aunt Gladys Lyons.
He is survived by: his grandsons, Arthur Ryan, III and Bryan Ryan; and his siblings, Ralph Leday of Opelousas, LA, Cindy Long of Lafayette, LA, Leslie Poullard of Ville Platte, LA and Diana Lyons of Dallas, TX.
