She is survived by: her children, Nikita Kay Leger (Errol), Shane Michael Matt (Twila) and Scott Matthew Matt (Roxsan Godeaux); her grandchildren, Justin Thibodeaux (Val), Danielle Viator (Drae), Elizabeth Matt, Spencer Leger, Shelby Bowen (Tyler), Christian Godeaux, Gracie Matt and Griffin Matt; her great grandchild Evangeline Rose Gay; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Mason Landry and Sophia Viator; her brother Calvin Olivier; and her brother-in-law Herbert "Bert" Matt (Lucille).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 8:30 AM at the Melancon Funeral Home (4708 I-49 Frontage Rd, Opelousas, LA 70570). A rosary will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the St. Bridget Catholic Church Cemetery (3933 LA-35, Opelousas, LA 70550).
