He was predeceased by: his wife Velme Lee Milburn Carrier; his parents, Benjamin Carrier, Sr. and Elvina Veazie Carrier; his siblings, Furdy Carrier, Barbara Lane and Alice Carrier; his granddaughter Jasmine Clark; and his great grandchild Brinlee Jade Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Charlette McLendon (Martin) of Opelousas, LA, Lisa Milburn-Semien (Herman) of Opelousas, LA, Jennifer Kennerson (Corey) of Youngsville, LA, Sandra Rideaux of Thibodaux, LA, Joseph Milburn (Toni) of Plano, TX, Benjamin Milburn, Sr. of Houston, TX and Gary Beaver (Toynisha) of Pahrump, NV; and his siblings, Irvin "Bob" Carrier of Pasadena, CA, Marvin Carrier (Ann) of Opelousas, LA, Annie Mae Thomas (Mack) of Lake Charles, LA and Paula Smith of Pasadena, CA. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
