He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Soileau and Vivian Pitre Soileau; his siblings, Jesse Dean Soileau and Sylvia Soileau Richard; and his godson Brent Soileau.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Mistrot Soileau of Opelousas, Louisiana; his children, David Soileau of Opelousas and Charisse Soileau (Matt D'avy) of Broussard, Louisiana.; his grandsons, Dylan LeBlanc, Landon Soileau and Bryce Nall; his great grandchild Elliot LeBlanc; his sisters-in-law, Shirley Soileau and Nell Fontenot (Schad); and his godson Don Paul Soileau.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church (2125 S Union St, Opelousas, LA 70570). A rosary was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 1:15 PM to 1:30 PM at the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery (4833 LA-182, Opelousas, LA 70570).
