He is survived by: his wife Audrey Pichon Hebert; his children, Scott Jude Hebert (Darla Hill) of Port Barre and Wendy Hebert Herpin (Brandon) of Opelousas; his grandchildren, Jude Hebert (Ashley), Jacob Hebert (Sarah), Lauren Herpin (Andre), Breanna Mose (Jamie) and Luke Herpin (Lindy); his great grandchildren, Mary Hebert, Layne Hebert and Brylee Hebert; his siblings, Floyd Hebert (Ethelene "Tina") of Alexandria and Geraldine "Deanie" Hebert of Loveland, Colorado; and his sister-in-law Edith Hebert of Arkansas.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 19th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Monday, July 20th 2026 at 8:00 AM at the Melancon Funeral Home (4708 I-49 Frontage Rd, Opelousas, LA 70570). A rosary was held on Sunday, July 19th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, July 20th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Leo the Great Catholic Church (126 Church Rd, Leonville, LA 70551).
