She is survived by : her children, Julia Guidry Prudhomme of Lafayette, Jonathan Guidry of Port Barre and Jacob Guidry of Port Barre; her granddaughter Jessie Lynn Prudhomme; her grandmother Alice G. Hicks of Opelousas; her former life partner John Guidry of Port Barre; her father Charles Hicks; and also Freida Simon of Lafayette. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
