He is survived by: his wife Judy Bellard Calais of Opelousas, LA; his daughter Tiffany Lazard (Eugene) of Opelousas, LA; his siblings, Gustave Calais, Jr. (Felipa) of Tampa, FL, Jimmy Calais (Barbara) of Opelousas, LA, Terry Calais (Monique) of Houston, TX, Troy Calais of Opelousas, LA, Tyrone Calais of Opelousas, LA, Tyra Trotter (Dionne) of Houston, TX, Erika "Kay" Waddy (Roland) and Tonya Calais (Carlos) of Fontana, CA; and his grandchildren, Karlie Bellard and Jayden Lazard. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Holy Ghost Church (732 N Union St, Opelousas, LA 70570). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
