He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Tanner of Opelousas, LA; his children, David Tanner, Jr. (Myntella) of Opelousas, LA and Sharissa Tanner (Traye) of Opelousas, LA; his siblings, Al Tanner (Brooke) of Dallas, TX, Brian Tanner of Rosa, LA, Betty Heath of Melville, LA, Pam Berry (Louis) of Dallas, TX, Willie Mae Tanner of Dallas, TX and Debra Armstrong (Eddie) of Clarksville, TN; his grandchildren, David III, Kylon, Demontra, Jailyn and Hailey; his aunt Linda Wright (Andre) of Los Angeles, CA; his uncle Columbus Jones (Carol) of Fort Worth, TX; and his goddaughter Kimberly Joseph of Opelousas, LA.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the New Life Church of God.
