He is survived by: his wife Barbara Johnson Lastrapes of Opelousas, LA; his children, Davis Lastrapes, Jr. (Reina) of Fayetteville, GA, Brandon Lastrapes of Decatur, GA, Nehemiah Lastrapes (Twyla) of Baker, LA, Nekeia Kimmie (Darnell) of Zachary, LA and Darsheena Castine (Ritney) of New Brunswick, NJ; and his siblings, Johnny Lastrapes (Kay) of Houston, TX, James Lastrapes of Houston, TX, Doretha Johnson of Houston, TX, Theresa Collins of Houston, TX and Mercedes Lastrapes of Houston, TX. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
