He is survived by: his wife Nadia Williams; his daughter Amari Duplechain of Opelousas; his siblings, Kevin Gardiner of Grand Coteau, Wyndle Gardiner of California, Brandon Gardiner of Virginia, Ryan Gardiner of Sunset and Alfredia Gardiner Smith (Carlos) of Arnaudville; and his godchildren, Londyn Jones and Ava Plumbar.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Melancon Funeral Home (4708 I-49 Frontage Rd, Opelousas, LA 70570). A rosary will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church (732 N Union St, Opelousas, LA 70570).
