He is survived by: his sisters, Isabelle "Tut" Marks of Port Barre, Anna Lee Stelly of Opelousas and Nethal Cormier (Davis) of Bridge City, TX; and his nieces and nephews, Belinda Boone (Joe), Karen Briley, Stacey Fontenot (Chris), Cathy Courville, Annette Courville, Cheryl Thibodeaux (DJ), Keith Cormier (Sharla) and Mike Cormier (Vicki). He is also survived by great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Skip Montet Chapel at LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas (2845 S Union St, Opelousas, LA 70570). A rosary was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 2:45 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery (4833 LA-182, Opelousas, LA 70570).
