He was predeceased by: his parents, Dupree George and Bertha Landrio George; his son Terry Tyler; and his siblings, Lionel George, Junius George, Murphy George, Bervick George, Paul George, Hilda Fisher, Irene Alfred, Marie George and Lorenia Greene.
He is survived by: his sisters, Mary G. Laviolette of Opelousas, LA and Rose G. Williams of Opelousas, LA; and his goddaughter Geraldine Thomas of Opelousas, LA.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Holy Ghost Parish Life Center (732 N Union St, Opelousas, LA 70570). A rosary will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
