He was predeceased by: his parents, Elton Brown, Sr. and Mercedes Richard Brown; and his siblings, Allen Ray Brown and Patricia "Pat" Kauffman. He is survived by: his wife Martha G. Brown; his daughters, Heidi Brown, Melody Brown and Melissa Roy (Trevor); his siblings, Nolton Brown (Gloria), Wilbert "Sue" Brown and Lena Dupre; and his grandchildren, Jacob Allen, Tristan Mansfield, Samuel Waas, Kalli Roy, Jaxon Waas and Hudson Roy. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Opelousas (3835 Interstate 49 South Service Rd, Opelousas, LA 70570). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
