She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Davis and Lena Davis; her siblings, Freddie, Sidney Davis, Beatrice Oakley Lewis, Leona Bolden, Mary Moses and Leola Albert; her son-in-law James Simmons; her siblings-in-law, Eleanor Davis, Sadie Davis, Embers Larkins, Wilson Oakley, Willie Lewis, Hammond Albert, Aaron Bolden and Joe Cretien; and her godson J. C. Davis.
She is survived by: her children, Elder Raymond Scott, Jr. (Delethia) of Gretna, LA, Linda Karim (Fareed) of Mt. Clemens, MI, Georgia Ann Simmons of Houston, TX and Bridget A. Sweetwine of Biloxi, MS; her sister Josephine Larkins of Houston, TX; and her brother-in-law Carey Moses of Opelousas, LA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
