He was predeceased by: his wife Della David Meyer; and his parents, Eugene Meyer and Lillian Meyer. He is survived by: his son Eugene M. Meyer III; his stepsons, Christopher Dufour (Amanda) and Ronald Dufour (Jeanne); his grandchildren, Brooke Meyer Lirette, Taylor Meyer, Jacob Meyer, Alexandra Dufour, Christina Dufour, Abigail Dufour and Joshua Dufour; and his great grandchild Noah Oak Lirette. He is also survived by his family, friends & fur babies.
A graveside service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Metairie Cemetery (5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124).
