He was predeceased by : his parents, Esther Liga Ledesma and Jorge Luis Torres; and his brother Jorge Luis Torres. He is survived by : his children, Angela Torres Spallino (Bryan), Vanessa Torres Hulin (Kevin) and Brennan "Ricky" Enrique Torres (Andrea); his stepson Cecil Depre; his friend Claudette Fontenot; and his caregiver Jeanie. He is also survived by his five grandchildren; his two step-grandchildren; his niece; his three nephews.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, March 5th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery (4833 LA-182, Opelousas, LA 70570).
