It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Brooks Sr. (Opelousas, Louisiana), who passed away on May 5, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Clarence Brooks, Sr. and Mae Doris Eaglin Brooks; and his siblings, Linda Brooks and Chester Brooks. He is survived by : his sons, Orlando Dion King and Gary Brooks, Jr.; his siblings, Clarence Brooks, Jr. (Bennie) of Houston, Joseph Brooks of Houston, Ronald Brooks (Lou Ella) of Aurora, Charles Brooks of Opelousas, LA, Yvonne Brewer (Delano) of Houston, Shirley Brooks of Baytown and Sandra James (Steve) of Pleasanton; and his nephew Darrell Brooks.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Williams Funeral Home.
