With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gilbert Moore (Opelousas, Louisiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 26, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Gilbert shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Gilbert farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his father George Moore; his son Cody Gabriel; his brother James Moore; his brother-in-law Henry Pitre; his grandparents, Elton, Lorena Lewis Moore, Gilbert and Delia Hebert Guidry; and his godparents, William Guidry and Mary Dora Guidry.
He is survived by: his brother Percy Moore of Church Point, LA.
